Message about Priests from Veronica to be Given to the World - May 5, 1980...

"I repeat, My children, as I have told you in the past, that the great Council of Vatican II was manipulated by satan. He sat there among you and he worked you like a chessboard.

The following was recently unearthed and is now posted for the world to read:

    I was happy to read the paper brought in to me this morning, because on the headlines it states that the Pope has ordered all priests out of politics, and that Reverend Drinan of Boston accedes and will quit Congress.

    Oh, how happy I am, because it makes the suffering of the past years of trying to reach the priesthood with the message of Our Lady—and of course Jesus—(The message that Our Lady gives is of course directed by Jesus and the Father in Heaven)...But I’m so wonderfully thankful that the Eternal Father has stepped in after many years.. .and I also pray, and continue to pray, for the priests as I have all of these years. Many things have happened that have confused the people.

    I pray above all for Pope John Paul II to remain steadfast and true, that he guide all the peoples back into the Roman Catholic Church, and that he follow the directions of Our Lady to bring peace to the world, to convert Russia, and to restore Jesus’ Church upon earth.

    The greatest heartbreak is that so many baptized Roman Catholics do not partake of the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist any longer, and therefore are losing their grace.

    Unless the peoples return to God, unless a morality demanded by the Eternal Father returns to the hearts and the actions of mankind, there will be terrible chastisements, a great one in particular But God is all merciful and very patient, with a patience beyond anything man could understand in his human nature.

    And I do hope He continues to be patient, even with me, because of this illness, (which I hope the good Lord will give me the grace to continue to accept without complaint, and I hope never guilty of the sin of despair) But at times, in all sincerity, in my human body, it becomes difficult as I have the frailties of every human However, the burden—it isn’t a burden—I really feel in my heart my illness isn’t a burden but a special privilege to suffer for Jesus and Our Lady as there are many victim souls needed. I feel it is a privilege now to be able to continue to suffer for priests and the Church, the nationwide and the worldwide Church of Jesus,

    I feel that all who are able to hear and understand my voice, I ask you from your heart — from my heart to your hearts—to listen to Our Lady and Jesus, and make atonement, many prayers and sacrifices.

    Every little moment of your life (and they are little, because the time is growing shorter) you see about you the results of sin; therefore, I ask you to please continue to pray and make acts of atonement. Continue without my physical presence among you to work for Our Lady of the Roses, to promote the message from Heaven throughout the world, and to pray above all for our Pope, John Paul II. Make many acts of sacrifice.

    In our human nature we cannot understand the way the Eternal Father tallies these graces, that could be called like merits and demerits, as we have in school, in our school systems The merits and the demerits, they’re all tallied, and the balance has to be to the right. Many times Saint Michael said that the balance he holds falls heavily to the left. So we have to continue and struggle on with confidence, and when you become discouraged, remember always: say “MY JESUS, MY CONFIDENCE.”

    I ask, too, in the name of Jesus and in the will of God the Father, for all to listen to Pope Paul, John Paul II, when he asks that the nuns return to their habits, and that the priests return to wearing their cassocks If only they could understand how regal and inspiring their habits will be to all — their very appearance. The eye is the mirror of the soul. Many will be inspired by their physical appearance, and, of course, their faith that will be demonstrated by the wearing of this habit. Many will be inspired to seek the vocation of the priesthood. We will have many good holy priests, and our convents will flourish again.

    The road to Heaven is not easy, and it’s especially very difficult for priests. They don’t have, as Our Lady said, a special passport to Heaven; in fact, their temptations are far greater than our own. Because of their vocation they have more control over their own actions than the average individual; because the average individual, caught up in his daily life, has many people about him: family, husband, wife, children.

    But a priest has a solitary and sometimes lonely existence, except if in grace he understands and realizes that he’s never alone. He has the greatest honor ever given to a man if he is chosen by God to become a priest. Then he is a representative of Jesus Himself upon earth and a leader of Jesus’ sheep, His people, under the Pope, now John Paul II.

    Think how wonderful and hew glorious a calling it is for a priest to become a priest. What has been happening in the world that distresses Our Lady very much is the so called sudden priests who are overnight priests. Why Our Lady objects to that, is because, through the direction of Jesus from the Eternal Father, you just can’t become a priest overnight by laying on of hands, because that priest has to have years and years of study. There is such an involved intricate system of learning that it has to be really started from the beginning: biblical teachings and theology and the knowledge of human nature, Of course, that doesn’t mean you have to become a married priest to understand human nature. In the confessional and with your dealings with people, Our Lady made it quite understood that you could learn all about life; you do not have to experience it.

    That is why priests are kept, Our Lady said, in soft of a ‘cocoon’, a protection against many of the temptations given to the ordinary man. Because as a priest, or even the Pope, too, he and you are not ordinary men. Once you have been ordained, you have been marked by Jesus, and you’re no longer an ordinary man. Therefore, it’s a delusion by satan if you try to become secular and join the mainstream of life by calling your- self an ordinary man. You would not call the Blessed Mother an ordinary woman or Jesus an ordinary man— even in His human nature, because He wasn’t just an ordinary men. He is and was God, end always will be God; and the Blessed Mother, the Mother of God, was an extraordinary Woman in the eyes of God, chosen by God to be the Mother o the Son of God.

    Therefore, the priesthood is a special, very special calling from God. And blessed are they who acknowledge their vocation and follow the true teachings, and work, truly work in their vocation for the salvation of souls.

Remember, My children, and I repeat again, that My Son is with you in the Eucharist. He is present with you in Body and Spirit. He will be brought to you by a legally-ordained priest, a man of God. Do not judge My Son's Church or its structure by the ways of man. The Spirit will work miracles over the corruption of the man. A legally-ordained priest is a priest for life.
