Inroads of communism

As the United States awaits the news of who will be our next President, we wish to pass on to our readers some very alarming news indicating that communism is making major inroads into our country.

According to the latest book by Washington Times columnist Bill Gertz, The China Threat, Gore's fundraiser Maria Hsia has been identified by the FBI as a communist Chinese agent:

"We had information, both public and classified, that showed she was doing work for the PRC [People's Republic of China] surreptitiously," said Senator Fred Thompson, chairman of the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee that investigated the campaign finance scandal. "That's what we call an agent." The final report of the committee noted, "[T]he FBI, in every sense of the word, approved our delineation of her as an agent."
Hsia, a Taiwan-born U.S. citizen, was convicted by a federal jury on March 2, 2000, of illegal fund-raising. She had been indicted in February 1998, accused of conspiring to defraud the government and making false statements to the Federal Election Commission. Hsia had been working as a fund-raiser for Gore for ten years. But she is remembered for the infamous—and illegal—1996 fund-raising event that Vice President Al Gore attended at the Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple in California. Furthermore, it is now known that Communist China has been funnelling money into the Democratic National Committee, in attempts to influence the U.S. election process. According to Senator Fred Thompson:

His investigation committee 'believes that high level Chinese government officials crafted a plan to increase China's influence over the U.S. political process...." Since the hearings in 1997, "we learned that the Chinese military, at least from what we were able to pin down... sent some money to the DNC [Democratic National Committee], and I feel quite sure in my own mind that that was a small part of a larger effort."
