COMMUNIST INFILTRATION OF THE CATHOLIC HIERARCHY
Mr. Manning Johnson, a former official of the Communist Party in America, gave the following testimony in 1953 to the House Un-American Activities Committee:

"Once the tactic of infiltration of religious organizations was set by the Kremlin... the communists discovered that the destruction of religion could proceed much faster through the infiltration of the Church by communists operating within the Church itself. The communist leadership in the United States realized that the infiltration tactic in this country would have to adapt itself to American conditions and the religious makeup peculiar to this country. In the earliest stages it was determined that with only small forces available to them, it would be necessary to concentrate communist agents in the seminaries. The practical conclusion drawn by the Red leaders was that these institutions would make it possible for a small communist minority to influence the ideology of future clergymen in the paths conducive to communist purposes.... The policy of infiltrating seminaries was successful beyond even our communist expectations." - Manning Johnson

Albert Vassart, a former member of the French communist party, revealed in 1955 that Moscow had issued a 1936 order that carefully selected members of communist youth to enter seminaries and, after training, receive ordination as priests. Some of these were to infiltrate religious orders, particularly the Dominicans (In his essay, "Satan at Work," the great Catholic philosopher Dietrich von Hildebrand reported that the French Dominicans had become so communistic in their "evangelization" that in 1953, the Order barely escaped dissolution by the order of Pope Pius XII.)

GOLITSYN WARNED OF COMMUNIST PENETRATION OF THE CHURCH
Anatoliy Golitsyn was a high-ranking KGB official involved in espionage and counter-espionage who defected to the Unites States in 1961. Convinced that Western interpretations of developments in the Communist Bloc were seriously flawed, he combined his study of Soviet long-range strategy with his inside knowledge of KGB and Leninist thinking in his 1984 book New Lies of Old. For over thirty years he has submitted memoranda to the CIA, in which he has provided very accurate analyses and forecasts of Bloc developments.
Mark Riebling, in his book Wedge: The Secret War Between the FBI and CIA (Alfred A. Knopf, New York 1994), carried out a methodical analysis of Golitsyn's predictions in New Lies for Old. Riebling says that "139 out of 148 were fulfilled by the end of 1993, an accuracy range of nearly 94 percent." Golitsyn's predictions included all the recent changes in the Communist Bloc, their economic and political "reforms", the rise of Solidarity, the removal of the Berlin Wall, the reunification of Germany and the collapse of the Soviet Union.
In 1985, Golitsyn reported that Russian Orthodox priests are controlled and directed by the KGB in order to promote cooperation between Soviet churches and Western Catholics and Protestants to help establish a united front for disarmament (peace and justice movements?) and convergence. In 1990, Golitsyn warned of another aspect of religious relaxation:

"The Vatican should reverse its mistaken support for the renewal of the Communist régimes... It fails to understand that greater apparent official tolerance of religion... is accompanied by a secret drive to increase Party and KGB penetration of the Catholic and other churches and to use agents therein for political and strategic purposes... As part of the program to destroy religion from within, the KGB, in the late 1950s [other former Communists say 1930s], started sending dedicated young Communists to ecclesiastical academies and seminaries to train them as future church leaders. These young Communists joined the Church... at the call of the Communist Party... to implement its general line [unchanged policy] in the struggle against religion."

Golitsyn's assessment corresponds to the bitter struggles of the great Cardinal Mindszenty of Hungary as he battled against the communist leaders of his country, enduring imprisonment and torture to protect his flock. Cardinal Mindszenty writes, "In an atheistic state, a Church that does not keep its independence can only play the role of a slave." In a biography on this heroic pastor fittingly called "The Valiant Shepherd," Kevin Grant states:

"It is prudent to remember that every agreement made with Marxist atheists brings loss to the sons of God. The communists break their promises. The tragedy is that after [80 plus] years they can still depend upon our gullibility as securely as their own treachery."

CONFIRMED: RUSSIAN PATRIARCH WORKED WITH KGB
A recent news article confirms Golitsyn's claim of KGB infiltration of the Russia Orthodox church. After studying the archives of the KGB, the Keston News Service confirmed the accuracy of longstanding allegations that the leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church collaborated with the Soviet secret police:

In response to the denial by a senior official of the Moscow Patriarchate that Patriarch Alexei II had collaborated with the KGB during the Soviet era, Keston News Service has reviewed all the available documentary evidence from the various archives of the KGB, and concluded that long-standing allegations that the Patriarch and other senior bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church collaborated with the KGB are based on fact. (Keston News Service, Felix Corley, September 21, 2000)

SIX SIGNS of a potential INFILTRATOR PRIEST

You are helping and loving your neighbor. What is love?...
"Any priest that tells you that you must love your neighbor first and God second, he is not a true man of God nor is he a true Roman Catholic priest, nor is he a true minister of any denomination. Because the first Commandment of God the Father is: 'I am the Lord thy God, thou shall not have strange gods before Me.' 'Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.'

If any of you have heard this, My children, you know it is true that many have become so arrogant that they feel that they are mini-gods, little gods."

ANTI-APOSTLE 1025
This is the story of a communist agent who infiltrated into the Catholic Church in 1938, went to the seminary, became a priest who wielded enormous power behind the scenes, and participated in the Second Vatican Council. He succeeded in fostering the adoption of ambiguous Council documents which laid the groundwork for future experiments by unsuspecting prelates and priests. He stated: "'The Spirit of the Council' has become for me a master-trump."
This agent's true identity is unknown except for a code number AA-1025 given by the Russian Secret Police, meaning the Anti-Apostle number 1025. There had been 1024 agents like him before him. Some have risen to the rank of Archbishop and Cardinal, many of whom could have been heads of departments in the curia (papal government) and religious congregations.
He died in the hospital after a car accident, and the attending nurse (Marie Carre) providentially discovered his personal memoirs in his briefcase. After she read the memoirs, she decided to publish them for the world to know why the Catholic Church has been undergoing destructive changes to the lament of its faithful. The English translation is published under the title AA 1025: The Memoirs of an Anti-Apostle.
Within the communist agent's diary are many chilling details containing plans for the destruction of faith within the Catholic Church. This communist agent writes:

"To weaken more the notion of 'Real Presence' of Christ, all decorum will have to be set aside. No more costly embroidered vestments, no more music called sacred, especially no more Gregorian chant, but a music in jazz style, no more sign of the Cross, no more genuflections, but only dignified stern attitudes...Moreover the faithful will have to break themselves the habit of kneeling, and this will be absolutely forbidden when receiving Communion...Very soon, the Host will be laid in the hand in order that all notion of the Sacred be erased."
