The terrorist who killed 10 people on Sunday in Dayton, Ohio was a hardcore leftist who was pro-Elizabeth Warren and promoted Bernie Sanders, Antifa, gun control, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-NY) "concentration camp" rhetoric, and strong anti-ICE sentiment, according to reviews of his Twitter account by The Daily Wire and other publications.

The attacker — whom The Daily Wire is not naming due to company policy — identified himself as a leftist on Twitter, where he used a pseudonym and espoused many of his far-left beliefs.

CNN ran a segment on Tuesday morning calling the attacker's Twitter account "confusing," noting it was "very left-leaning, pro-Antifa, anti-police," and seemingly supportive of "progressive candidates in the Democratic Party." The shooter also retweeted "support for gun control after the El Paso shooting," which CNN described as "confusing."

Sean Davis, the co-founder of The Federalist, weighed in on CNN's segment, tweeting: "Killers supporting gun control is only confusing if you’re an idiot. Evil men rarely want their targets to be able to defend themselves or others, which is why the overwhelming majority of mass shootings are perpetrated in gun-free zones."

The attacker promoted multiple tweets from different chapters of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), a fringe far-left party to which Ocasio-Cortez belongs.

The attacker made comments stating that he wanted socialism imposed and was not willing to wait for people to come around to his way of thinking.

The attacker said that he had "crippling depression," which he said was responsible for his drinking. The attacker also repeatedly made strong pro-Satan comments and repeatedly talked about smoking meth.

The media's coverage of the beliefs of the Dayton shooter has been dwarfed by its coverage of the El Paso attacker — who was a racist ethno-nationalist and a white supremacist.

The El Paso attacker hated both Democrats and Republicans, held extreme right-wing views on immigration, and held far-left views on the environment and social programs.
