About 1978, a lady from Connecticut took a
picture of Our Lady of the Roses Statue during the Rosary
procession during a three hour prayer vigil at Bayside, New
York. I personally happened to be one of the six men chosen to
carry the Statue of Our Lady of the Roses and was in the
picture. The lady who took the picture was an avid listener to
the radio program but didn't know me at the time. When she had
the picture developed it turned out to be miraculous. There was
a pink and white wavy beam of light coming from Heaven over me.
After finding out from Our Lady of the Roses Shrine who was in
the picture she sent the picture and negative to me.
These Last Days radio program started in May
1983. By 1985 the radio program really began to flourish and
working for IRS and doing the radio program was very stressful.
In the late 1980's we were on about 70 mostly major AM, FM and
short wave radio station with a budget around a million
dollars. The Message was going around the world on the radio.
In March 1985, I sent a very short and curt letter to
Veronica Lueken:
Dear Veronica,
Working at IRS and doing the radio program is driving me crazy.
Something's got to go.
Sincerely, Gary
As I was about to seal the envelope I thought of
the above miraculous picture. Took a copy of the picture and
put it in the envelope with the letter and added:
P.S. Maybe the answer is in the picture.
Off the letter went. Here was I writing a
letter to a woman who was receiving messages from Jesus and Mary
and had suffered the with the stigmata and other great
sufferings. Heaven said she would known as Veronica of
the Cross. Comparing her with the saints I am
completely convinced that when her body is exhumed she will be
incorrupt and she will be canonized a saint. If I had to do it
over again, it would have been a much nicer letter.
A few days later Veronica gave her personal
secretary, Mrs. Ann Ferguson, these instructions:
"Please call Gary
and tell him the miraculous photo is a word from Jesus.
Note Jesus' color pink on the light near his pocket, that
Gary must give up his (IRS) job and work on the radio
program. Jesus will provide because he has a red mark
on his pocket."
Needless to say, I was shocked!
Prior to this I had worked for thirteen years at
IRS as an Internal Revenue Agent. My wife, Gail, had worked for
the Social Security Administration and together we earned in
excess of $52,000 a year. We had over $30,000 in a Government
Pension Plan.
After receiving this message from Jesus in March
1985, we left our government jobs to work full time for His
Mother on the radio program. We cashed in our pensions and used
part of the funds to finance the radio program.
Back in 1973, when I was single, I sent a
petition to New York to be placed at the foot of Our Lady of the
Roses Statue during a 3 hour Rosary prayer vigil. It read;
"Dear Blessed Mother, Please send me a good wife and that we
both will work full time spreading Bayside messages."
We began working full time for Our Lady in May 1985. Our Lady
had more than answered my prayer.
The years since have been the most stressful,
the most trying, and the most difficult years of my life. It
seems like 10 years were packed into each one year. But the
thought of playing a small in spreading Our Lady's Message to
the world is absolutely exhilarating. Wouldn't trade all these
years for all the money in the world.
It's amazing that more and more things tie into
the picture. One unexplained thing is the wavy colored lines in
the beam of light light that goes to Heaven. It has puzzled me
for years. Our Lady will probably reveal it in due time.
Heaven seems to work on a need to know basis.
Our Lady of the Roses gave this message to
Veronica and the world on May 28, 1983; "I tell you now,
My child, because the road has been filled with thorns, that
Heaven, all Heaven, is greatly of heart for you and those who
came with you from Heaven's direction to build up an apostleship
that shall be forever written in the annals of the Church. This
surprises you, My child; I understand you are quite shocked,
but, pleasantly so, I hope."
I was shocked to tears when I read this message
given on my birthday, May 28th. The very next day after this
message was given, These Last Days radio program aired on the
radio for the first time.
On July 25, 1979, Jesus said; "My Mother
has been coming to you as a Mediatrix between God and man. She
sends you and strews among you many roses. Many have thorns;
the thorns are always with the roses. And you will always find,
My child and My children, the cross beneath the roses. The road
to Heaven is the way of the cross. Pick up your cross and follow
Me. The way is narrow, and very few remain on it. Many are
called, but few can be chosen."
Some of the roses are the wonderful
encouragement from Our Lord and Our Lady in the Message, the
spiritual and physical cures given by Our Lady, and the return
of fallen away Catholics to the Church through the Message we
help spread. The thorns are the scorn and ridicule of loved
ones and family and friends and the rejection of the message.
The greatest sorrow is the thought of terrible suffering coming
upon the world now because of the rejection of the Message by
the clergy and the people.
On February Our Lady said; "I cry out, as
your Mother, as a Mediatrix from God to mankind. Listen to Me,
and act upon the directions from Heaven. Save yourselves and
your children. There is little time left.
"Shall you be given a full scourge of communism and slavery? Shall the elements be used against you to cleanse your world? Shall mankind feel the great heat and burning of the Ball of
Redemption? You who laugh and scorn this Message, the day will
come when there shall be much gnashing of teeth and woe set upon
the earth.
"As it was in the days of Noah, so it is now that man never
learns from his history. He repeats his mistakes over and over."
The greatest rose received from Our Lady was our
son, John Paul, who was born on December 8th, the Feast of the
Immaculate Conception.
Other beautiful roses are all the wonderful
souls we have met or corresponded with through the years of
spreading Our Lady of the Roses Messages here and around the
world. |
