Cameroon disaster at Lake Nyos predicted by Our Lady of the Roses...

Veronica - I can see Our Lady now coming through the clouds. There is a cloud-like formation, as though Our Lady has just passed through some type of an ordeal, some type of a catastrophe. Because the clouds don't look like the clouds of our sky, but the clouds are coming up smoke-like from some type of chasm, a deep well or something.
Our Lady – “For at this very moment we see a most terrible explosion, with the loss of many lives about to take place.” - June 18, 1986 

On the evening of June 18, 1986, with chilling accuracy, Mrs. Veronica Lueken, of Long Island, New York, was permitted by Heaven to see a brief vision of a disaster of enormous magnitude, which was to occur 64 days later on August 21st in Cameroon, West Africa.

The most terrible tragedy depicted above unfolded in the following manner:

Sometime between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on August 21, 1986, a cloud of lethal volcanic gas swept down the valley around Lake Nios in the northwest border of Cameroon. An explosion that sounded like distant thunder preceded the silent, colorless cloud. 

Lake Nyos is roughly one square mile in surface area and has a maximum depth of 690 feet. It’s what’s known as a “crater lake”—it formed when the crater of a long-extinct volcano filled with water. But was the volcano really extinct? Maybe an eruption was the culprit.

The poisonous gas overtook unsuspecting villagers from the surrounding area bedded down for the night and quietly suffocated them in their sleep. At least 1,746 people perished, mainly from the three villages surrounding the lake of death. All told, 20,000 lives were upended by the freakish disaster (the wrath of God?) that was described by an official of a U.S. agency in Cameroon as a "Ripley's Believe It or Not event." The animals also—goats, pigs, cows, etc.—fell victim to the deadly fumes, their rotting carcasses strewing the fields, posing a potentially huge health hazard to the few lucky survivors.

Scientists are still unsure what made the gases escape violently from the volcanic depths (described by Veronica in her vision as a chasm or deep well) of the lake. They theorize that a landslide, eruption, or earthquake triggered the pent-up gases to rush upward and then explode at the surface.

The catastrophe is believed to have been the worst natural calamity ever to strike the quiet west African country.

Veronica revealed that the text of her tape-recorded transcript of June 18, 1986, referring to the "most terrible (underground) explosion" was specifically Cameroon. She told some of her closest workers that "she was assured" several weeks later by the Blessed Mother that the ominous clouds she saw in vision that night were those of the impending Cameroon catastrophe.
