The Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, announced on October 13, 1999, that he is going to beatify Jacinta and Francisco on May 13, 2000. In the Roman Catholic Church to beatify is to proclaim (a deceased person) to be one of the blessed and thus worthy of public religious veneration for the world or in a particular region or religious congregation.

The Bayside Prophecies . . .
    Our Lady - "I have not come to bring fear to my children, but I have come to prepare you and WARN YOU of what lies ahead. If you do not heed my admonitions. One (Lucy) remains upon earth who will attest to the TRUTH OF JACINTA.” (12-24-72)
    On December 30, 1972 Jacinta appeared next to Our Lady. Our Lady said Jacinta will be Beatified and Lucy will bear witness to her words at the Shrine.
     Our Lady smiled to Veronica and said: "That is all I will tell you, my child, at this time."

Pray, pray, pray that this news goes far and wide. This will be a great event for Bayside to have Lucy come forward and tell the world that Bayside is true.
