1927--Our Lady of Fatima to Sister Lucy: "The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means." 1931--August, Our Lord to Sister Lucy: "Make it known to My ministers that given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My request, that they will follow him into misfortune. It will never be too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary." 1947—Sister Lucy wrote in February 17, 1947: “The Holy Father has already consecrated Russia, including it in the consecration of the world, but it has not been done in the form indicated by Our Lady.” 1957—December 26th, Sister Lucy said, “Russia will be the instrument of chastisement chosen by Heaven to punish the whole world if we do not beforehand obtain the conversion of that poor nation.” 1982—March 21, Sister Lucy, before the witnesses Dr. Lacerda and the Bishop of Fatima was formally asked to explain to Pope John Paul II’s personal representative—the Lisbon Nuncio—what Our Lady wanted of the Pope. She explained that the Pope must (1) choose a date, (2) command the bishops of the entire world, (3) to make each in his own cathedral at the same time as the Pope (4) a solemn and public ceremony of reparation and consecration of Russia, (5) to the Most Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. The Papal Nuncio later told Dr. Lacerda that he did not forward to the Holy Father the duty of each bishop to join the Pope in obeying the command to consecrate Russia as indicated. · 1983—Sister Lucy, on March 19, was again visited by Dr. Lacerda who witnessed the same Papal Nuncio again converse with Sister Lucy in the Pope’s name. She answered clearly: “The consecration of Russia has not been done as Our Lady requested.” She explained that was because ‘Russia’ was not clearly the object of the consecration, and because each bishop had not made in his own cathedral a public and solemn ceremony of consecration of RUSSIA. The text which Sister Lucy had prepared for the Papal Nuncio ended as follows: "The Consecration of Russia has not been done as Our Lady has requested. I was not able to make this statement (before) because I did not have the permission of the Holy See." September 18, 1986--On Thursday 18 September, Abbé Laurentin had lunch with one of Sister Lucy's nieces, Maria do Fetal. During this meal, she continually repeated to him: "The consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart has still not been accomplished. I can tell you this because Sister Lucy says the same to everyone." And Maria do Fetal went on to explain: "To respond to Our Lady's request, there must be no attempt to camouflage under a jumble of diplomatic precautions, the fact that it refers to the consecration of Russia and Russia alone ... When a baby is baptized, it is called by its name. The day must come when Russia clearly appears as the sole object of the consecration." 1987—July 20th, Sister Lucy, bound by Portuguese law left her cloister to vote in the national election. Upon her leaving the car, the Argentine journalist Enrique Romero met her and asked her about the consecration of Russia. She confirmed to him that it had not been done and that unless there was a spiritual turnaround featuring prayer and sacrifice, every nation would fall under the cruel Communist dictatorship (This was reported in the early August edition of Para Ti published in Argentina.) November 26, 1987--Private appointment with layman from Los Angeles. Cardinal Stickler, after agreeing to be "an instrument of transmission" of a letter to the Pope requesting the consecration of Russia, doubted whether the Pope would consecrate Russia since he lacks the support of his bishops. Cardinal Stickler said, "They do not obey him!" The Cardinal added that it is not just the American bishops but bishops of the entire world who do not obey the Bishop of Rome. December 7, 1987--Private appointment with two laymen from New York City. Cardinal Stickler responded to an inquiry about why Pope John Paul II has not yet honored Our Lady of Fatima's request for the special consecration of Russia. The Cardinal said, "Pope Pius XII had already consecrated Russia, including Russia in his consecration of the entire world, but it has not been done in the form requested by Our Lady of Fatima. Her request is not fulfilled." When asked for an opinion about whether Pope John Paul II believes the consecration was already completed, the Cardinal responded: "It's the Pope's decision, not mine. Some of the bishops would not agree with him. The Holy Father would probably say, 'The bishops will not listen to me. So I won't do it!' " Cardinal Stickler concluded: "The consecration is not done: conditions are not fulfilled!" Spring of 1988--Mr. Greenan asks Cardinal John O'Connor of New York if the consecration of Russia as specified by Our Lady of Fatima had been done. Cardinal O'Connor replied, "No, not yet." May 1989--Cardinal Law of Boston visits Sister Lucy and is told that the March 25, 1984 consecration of the world by Pope John Paul II did not fulfill Our Lady's requests. Regarding the consecration of Russia--"He (God) if He wanted, could see to it that the cause (measures before Rome) move along rapidly; but to punish the world, He will let it go slowly. His justice, provoked by our sins, demands it. And He is displeased, not only by the great sins, but also by our laxity and negligence in attending to His petitions (...) Yes the crimes are many, but above all there is the negligence of those souls who should be ardent in His service, that is much greater. The number of those whom Our Lord finds spiritually well-disposed is very limited." - Sister Lucy "It is God Who permits it all. But, at the same time, it demonstrates how much punishment can be evoked for not paying attention to God's dictates." - Sister Lucy |
A wave of "diabolical orientation" has inundated the Catholic faithful
throughout the world concerning the exact requests of Our Lady of Fatima, as
well as the true nature of the Third Secret of Fatima. From numerous secular
news reports throughout the world, it is clear that there is a campaign underway which has misrepresented
and even intentionally falsified
the Fatima Message. With this in mind, we present below various statements made
by Cardinals and Sister Lucy, to shed light on the mystery of the Third Secret.
Our Lady of the Roses has told us the essential content of the Third Secret
already: "How I warned and warned that Satan would enter into the
highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that
satan would enter into My Son's Church." - Our Lady, May 13, 1978
FATHER ALONSO, OFFICIAL ARCHIVIST OF FATIMA CARDINAL SILVIO ODDI CARDINAL OTTAVIANI CARDINAL JOSEPH RATZINGER SISTER LUCY OF FATIMA Sister Lucy wrote to a friend, Dona Maria Teresa da Cunha on April 12, 1970: "People must recite the Rosary every day. Our Lady repeated this in all her apparitions, as if to arm us in advance against these times of diabolical disorientation, so that we would not let ourselves be fooled by false doctrines, and that through prayer, the elevation of our soul to God would not be diminished.... This is a diabolical disorientation invading the world and misleading souls! It is necessary to stand up to it..." On September 16, 1970, Sister Lucy wrote to a friend in religion, Mother Martins, who had been her companion at Tuy, in the novitiate of the Dorothean Sisters. She had just been sorely tried by illness: "...I too, was not feeling very well in my heart, my eyes, etc.; but it is necessary to the Passion of Christ; it is necessary that His members be one with Him, through physical pain and through moral anguish. Poor Lord, He has saved us with so much love and He is so little understood! so little loved! so badly deserved! It is painful to see such a great disorientation and in so many persons who occupy places of responsibility...! For our part we must, as far as is possible for us, try to make reparation through an ever more intimate union with the Lord; and identify ourselves with Him that He may be in us the Light of the world plunged in the darkness of error, immorality and pride. It pains me to see what you tell me, now that that is going on over here...! It is because the devil has succeeded in infiltrating evil under the cover of good, and the blind are beginning to guide others, as the Lord tells us in His Gospel, and souls are letting themselves be deceived...This is why the devil has waged such a war against [the Rosary]! And the worst is that he has succeeded in leading into error and deceiving souls having a heavy responsibility through the place which they occupy...! They are blind men guiding other blind men..." A letter of November 26, 1970, addressed to Don Umberto Pasquale, an Italian Salesian devoted to the cause of Fatima for a very long time: "...The decadence which exists in the world is without doubt the consequence of the lack of the spirit of prayer. Foreseeing this disorientation, the Blessed Virgin recommended recitation of the Rosary with such insistence, and since the Rosary is, after the holy Eucharistic liturgy, the prayer most apt for preserving faith in souls, the devil has unchained his struggle against it. Unfortunately, we see the disasters he has caused. ...We must defend souls against the errors which can make them stray from the good road.... We cannot and we must not stop ourselves, nor allow, as Our Lord says, the children of Darkness to be wiser than the children of Light... The Rosary is the most powerful weapon for defending ourselves on the field of battle." On April 13, 1971, Sister Lucy wrote to her Salesian nephew, Father Jose Valinho: "I see by your letter that you are preoccupied by the disorientation of our time. It is indeed sad that so many persons let themselves be dominated by the diabolical wave sweeping over the world, and that they are blinded to the point of being incapable of seeing error! ..." In December 1971, in a letter to Mother Martins: "Thus the little pamphlets (referring to a text on the Rosary composed by Sister Lucy) will remain with souls, as an echo of Our Lady's voice, to remind them of the insistence with which She recommended the prayer of the Rosary to us, so many times. It is because She already knew that there had to come these times, during which the devil and his supporters would fight so much against this prayer, to lead souls away from God. And without God, who shall be saved?! For this reason we must do everything in our power to lead souls back to God." PLEAD WITH THE POPE TO HAVE SISTER LUCY
