Anglican Archbishop Tutu Says He Would Prefer Hell to ‘Homophobic’ Heaven...

Catholic Online reported on July 29, 2013:
The United Nations Human Rights Office has launched the Free & Equal Campaign, which it describes as a “global public education campaign [that] aims to … focus on the need for both legal reforms and public education to counter homophobia and transphobia.”
Stating that “I am as passionate about this campaign as I ever was about apartheid,” Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu said, “I would refuse to go to a homophobic heaven. No, I would say sorry, I mean I would much rather go to the other place.”
“I would not worship a God who is homophobic, and that is how deeply I feel about this,” added the South African prelate, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.
