Catholic Bishop Joseph Bagobiri Fights 'Satanist-Driven Radical Islamic Organizations'‏...

"Now, My child, you have been much concerned about My appearance in another country, Egypt.  Yes, My child, you do not understand all. Saint Demyana is a Coptic Orthodox Church, My child, and I must say: though My heart grieves because they are not with Rome at this time, they will join in the future.  But at this time the only thing that eases My heart is the knowledge that they have kept the Faith as they know it. In that Church, My child, the Coptics--which are few in Egypt--they are devout.  They do not rush through the service of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where My Son daily gives Himself to you.  They are few in number but devout.

CNS News reported on October 6, 2014:

“Christians must do everything within their powers to protect their lives from being snuffed off by Satanist-driven Islamic organizations,” Bishop Joseph Bagobiri, the Roman Catholic head of Nigeria’s Kafanchan Diocese, said Sunday, according to Nigeria's Vanguard newspaper.

Bishop Bagobiri also noted, according to the Vanguard, that Christians have a "grave duty" to use “moderate and proportionate force” to defend their families against Islamic groups such as Boko Haram, which is responsible for the deaths of thousands of civilians since 2009.

Boko Haram became internationally known after it staged a mass kidnapping of more than 250 Nigerian schoolgirls in April. Only one has reportedly escaped in nearly five months.

Not fighting back is a “gross act of irresponsibility," the bishop said at a Sunday reception, pointing out that “Christian communities that observe absolute pacifism have all ceased to exist.”

Bishop Bagobiri invoked church teaching on “legitimate defense” in his remarks, noting that the Catechism of the Catholic Church describes it as an act of love towards oneself; and carried out out in defense of God’s gift to life, [of] which we are merely custodians. The theological authorities of the Church are emphatic: Love towards oneself remains a fundamental principle of morality.

“Therefore, it is legitimate to insist on respect for one’s own right to life. Someone who defends his life is not guilty of murder even if he is forced to deal his aggressor a lethal blow,” Bishop Bagobiri said.

"The Magisterium is further explicit on this subject matter when it teaches that ‘legitimate defense’ can not only be a right but [a] grave duty for one who is responsible for the lives of others,” the bishop emphasized. “The defense of the common good requires that an unjust aggressor be rendered unable to cause harm.

However, he continued,“it must be stated clearly here that in light of the above official church statement, that the exercise of self-defense...is [not] to be seen as an act of vengeance or vendetta."

Bishop Bagobiri's statement is part of the public outcry church leaders in Nigeria have made against Boko Haram’s persecution of Christians.

On Monday, the Nigerian Catholic Church released a statement: “As a church, we are really going through a severe moment of persecution,” particularly in the three Northeastern states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa."

The statement was signed by Rev. Fr. Gideon Obasogie, director of social communication for the Catholic Diocese of Maiduguri, who lamented the fact that “in the last few weeks our churches numbering 154 have been deserted.

“While our people perish, inaction, or rather slow action is what we get. Political activities in neighbouring communities are ongoing as though nothing is at stake,” Obasogie added.

In a September statement released to Vatican Radio, the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), complained that "as Nigeria tragically bleeds and burns,” the Nigerian government is not doing enough to stop Boko Haram.

"In the face of this Boko Haram group and other criminal militias arming themselves beyond our legitimate government, and brazenly killing innocent, defenseless citizens, our government must do more than it is currently doing to safeguard our lives and defend our nation,” they said while declaring a national all-night prayer vigil on Nov. 13th to ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

“While Muslims are sometimes targets of these destructive attacks, Christians, churches and non-Muslims in general are the principal targets for extermination, expropriation and expulsion by the Boko Haram insurgents, the perpetrators of all these destructions,” they emphasized.

The Nigerian bishops added that they are “really alarmed at the scale of human and material destruction, and the disruption of village and community life with increased levels of hatred and potentials for more conflicts in the nation.”

"All who continue in the battle ahead must accept martyrdom. it does not, My child, necessarily mean death of your body, but it will mean persecution. Stand fast in the faith. Keep the faith in the hearts of those you love. Extend your charity of heart to all of your brother and sisters throughout the world. ARABS
Veronica - Now Michael is turning back, and he's pointing over to the left side of the flagpole, beyond the left side. And I see . . . oh, I see a terrible, terrible fighting, a war. I don't believe it's in the United States, because these people look like they're Egyptians, and Arabs, and dark-skinned people. And now, though, as the—I hear the great roar of bombs. 
     I'm looking up, and the sky's becoming very lighted. And I am seeing thousands and thousands of people marching. But they look like Chinese, or Mongolian. No, they're—I believe they're Chinese; they're Asiatic. They're marching across the land, and they're boarding some kind of transport. They're going onto the water. Oh, it's a great War. Oh! Oh!
     Now Michael is coming over to the left side of the flagpole, and he's looking down.
St. Michael - "My child, we have asked you to send the word to mankind that they will read in the Book of life, the Bible, the words given to them that will fulfill the prophecy of the latter days, Apocalypse. WORLD  WAR  III  
Veronica -  . . . Our Lady now is looking down sadly. And I see She's pointing now to what looks like a map. Oh, my!
     Now as I am watching—it's a map of ... oh, I can see Jerusalem, and Egypt, Arabia, French Morocco, Africa. Oh, my goodness! There seems to be a very dense darkness now settling upon those countries. Oh, my!
     And Our Lady is saying:

ISRAEL  IN  FLAMES
Veronica - ... and there's another map. And I see Israel, and countries about it; they're all aflame....
"The wars shall increase, and the carnage shall increase, and those who are living will often envy the dead, so great will be the suffering of mankind.... When he left the Eternal Father he turned to satan, and this is his reward." - Our Lady of the Roses, June 30, 1984

AN  ARABIAN  SABER 
Veronica - And I can see now Jesus and Our Lady are going high up into the sky, and there's forming directly over Our Lady's statue, high in the sky—it is a cross, a very large cross. The handle, though, of a . . . dagger—it looks like a dagger, a knife. It's a strange-looking dagger with a loop at the bottom, like. It's a symbol. And Jesus is nodding.
Jesus - "You will understand, My child, soon."
Veronica - Yes, it is a, like a saber. Gee, it, it's a very strange-looking, dagger-like saber, with a cross on a handle. Like—it's not the kind that you see—it looks almost like Arabian or something. I can't explain it—like a very strange-looking Arabic, or something. I don't know where I have seen that before, but it's a very odd-looking type of dagger-like sword, with a hook on the end of it, though. That's strange. Oh, now it's beginning to fade; I can't see it anymore. - December 24, 1979  

SYRIA  HOLDS  THE  KEY
Our Lady - "Wars are a punishment for man's sins. Syria holds the key to peace at this time. However, I place in front of you, My children, a graphic picture for you to understand. It will be a parable for some, and some will turn away not willing to hear what Heaven has to say in these desperate times."
Veronica - Our Lady is pointing up with Her finger, like this, to Her right side, and high above Her the sky is opening up—all the clouds are floating away and the sky is opening up and I see a map of the Mideast. And then Our Lady is pointing up farther and that's another map of China and Russia. Our Lady is turning back now: She was looking upward also.
Our Lady - "My child and My children, there are scoffers who will say there shall not be a Third World War. They do not know and cannot conceive of the plan of the Eternal Father. Be it known now that the Father has great heart for all His children, but when the sin reaches a peak only known to the Father the amount of sin among mankind, then the Father will take action." - May 28, 1983 

A  WORLD  AFLAME

WARHEAD  IN  SUBWAY  TUNNEL
Veronica - And Jesus is now telling me to look down. I'm looking down, and it appears to be a subway station, but there's no one. I know, I recognize tracks going into a tunnel. There's no one about in this tunnel. I seem to feel that is has been discarded as a major network for the trains. Now, Our Lady and Jesus now are standing at my side. I'm standing with Them on the platform. And Jesus says:
Jesus - "Look, My child, what is coming in..."
Veronica - And there on the tracks—it's made of wheels—there's a carting, some type of a carting—train-like board. And on this—I know,—I know it's a bomb, a very large bomb, and it has a point, like a V-shape upside down, pointed type of nozzle, or whatever you'd call it. I don't know the mechanics of bombs or anything, but I know it's a bomb.
     And the Jesus touched His lips. He said: "Warhead! A warhead!"
Jesus - "It's an underground tunnel that's not being used for transporting the passengers at this time. It's been abandoned. But it has made, said Jesus, an ideal parking place for a major destructive force that man has created—a missile."  - Jesus, March 26, 1983 

TO  DESTROY  THE  MORALE
