Riots in Benton Harbor, Michigan...
Monday night a Benton Harbor
neighborhood turned into a mob scene. Hundreds of angry people crowded the
neighborhood near Pavone and Empire to protest the death of 28-year-old Terrance
Shurn of Benton Harbor. He was killed after his motorcycle crashed following a
high-speed police chase.
The riots lasted for close to six hours but the unrest
began much earlier in the evening. It started at 7 PM Michigan time when more
than 100 people turned out for Benton Harbor's city commission meeting because
they were upset with the chase involving Benton Township police, which ended in
Benton Harbor.
Rioting begins
After the meeting, around 11 PM, the rioting began near Empire and Broadway
Streets. Eventually the mob grew to 300 to 400 people. The mob threw bricks and
bottles at police cars causing thousands of dollars in damages. Police decided
to suit up in riot gear.
By about 1 AM a vacant house was set on fire by people
in the crowd. By 5 AM police were able to disperse the crowds.
A neighbor shot video of the vacant home engulfed in
flames. It's believed rioters torched the home, which was located across the
street from the scene of Monday's fatal motorcycle accident.
Benton Harbor Police Chief Samuel Harris says fire
crews were unable to immediately get to the scene because of the danger
presented by the rioters. Because of that, several nearby homes were evacuated
as a precaution. A second nearby home burned hours after the rioting ended, but
authorities aren't sure if that fire was related.

Crucifix on all outside doors…
Jesus - "Pray and wear your sacramentals. And, also, My children, I ask
you again to place a crucifix upon your door. Both front and back doors must
have a crucifix. I say this to you because there will be carnage within your
areas, and this will pass you by if you keep your crucifix upon your
doors." (6-30-84)
Store canned goods, water and blankets...
Our Lady - "My children, not only with the canned foods will you store
just food, but you must also make known to your families and your friends that
they had best keep blankets and water in tight containers; for there will be on
the onset of the Chastisement, there will be nothing that you can buy due to
contamination.
"Your homes are
protected by a supernatural being, with St. Michael, the head of the armies from
Heaven. Just as in the days of old, so will it be, My children, that there will
be sent to you an angel of death, but in human form." (7-1-85)
Crucifix to guard entrances to home…
"I must reveal, My children, to the world again, that you are to keep a
crucifix on your front door and your back door. All entrances to your home must
be guarded by the crucifix. There has not been one home on Long Island that had
a crucifix on its door that did fall to any evil. I do not speak of the trees,
My child; I speak of mankind. You did not know a major disaster as has happened,
My children, in Mexico. You see, My child, I set you down in that area to bring
the word to mankind, and it was through these words that many listened and the
passed through the horrible experience of a hurricane." (10-5-85)

Wear your sacramentals…
Jesus - "Keep a constant vigilance of prayer, I beg of you, My
children; for you have now an escalating evil upon earth, and without it,
without the grace that My Mother gives to you, through Her Appearances here upon
your earth, you will not be able to keep from the clutches of satan, I assure
you. Wear your sacramentals. Do not go out without them, or you will fall.
"I know, My
child, this disturbs you greatly, because you have only so many sacramentals to
give to the multitudes. But the words must be heard throughout the world. And
the other people, My children and My child, must make haste to obtain their
sacramentals. They will find them. There is enough upon earth for all who want
them, My children.
"Remember, keep
your sacramentals constantly upon you: your brown Scapular, your Saint Benedict
medal, the Miraculous Medal, and also the medal of Our Lady of the Roses. You
must keep them upon you, with a crucifix. We demand a crucifix, because demons -
many of the highest ones in the realms of hell cannot stand the sight of a
crucifix. They will not approach your door. I give you this knowledge, My
children, though it is not common knowledge, My children, though it is not
common knowledge upon earth, that the crucifix has great power against
satan." (6-18-87)
