The Coming American Financial Firestorm

McAlvany Intelligence Advisor (and a few others) have long written that the Fed will do anything in its power to stop a recession, depression, or deflation (i.e., inflate or die). With corporate America beginning to limp badly (i.e., note the current bankruptcy of U. S. Air, United, Delta and Northwest Airlines; the collapse of Delphi, the U.S.’ largest auto parts manufacturer; the serious trouble General Motors and Ford are in with each laying off 30,000 workers and closing 9 and 10 auto factories respectively) - is it not a surprise that the Fed is already running its printing presses at Mach 10 speed.

As. Dr. Kurt Richebacher states in the quote above, the Fed has recently expanded the money supply at a $3 trillion rate. If the economy is as strong as the Administration, the Fed, and Wall Street tell us, then why is the Fed expanding the money supply at the fastest rate in U.S. history? It is because the economy is weakening; the real estate market is topping and weakening; unemployment is rising (i.e., Katrina alone has cost 600,000 jobs); and major companies all over America are now announcing large job layoffs (which will be covered up in the phony government job statistics).
