Pope Benedict XVI says it’s Time for Catholics to Start Voting like Catholics...

"All who become part of or condone abortion, the murder of the young, shall be destroyed!" - Jesus, June 2, 1979

At a special meeting at the Vatican a few weeks ago, Pope Benedict XVI told a large gathering of politicians that Catholic legislators have a moral duty to vote as Catholics should vote – and to stand up for Catholic truth in the political arena.

 During the 2004 deliberation among US Bishops, then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith sent a letter to the US Bishops to use as a guide.  The letter pointed out that obstinately pro-abortion Catholic politicians, after being duly instructed and warned, "must" be denied Holy Communion.  Almost all of the American Catholic Bishops have ignored this letter.

 The Catholic Church condemns abortion, euthanasia, human cloning, homosexual or same sex marriage, and embryonic stem cell research.  Any politician who obstinately promotes these items must be excommunicated.  Any Catholic who votes for a politician who supports the above commits a mortal sin and must confess this sin before receiving Holy Communion.

 The Code of Canon Law 915 states “Those upon whom the penalty of excommunication or interdict has been imposed or declared, and others who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin, are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.”  For a Catholic legislator to support abortion is a mortal sin.  To vote for a politician who supports abortion is a mortal sin.  This sin must be confessed before receiving Holy Communion.

 Four things that cry out to Heaven for vengeance (extreme punishment) from God: wanton murder, sodomy, oppression of widows and orphans, and cheating laborers of their due wages.  Abortion is wanton murder of a baby.  Abortion cries out to Heaven for extreme punishment from God.  Vote pro-life.

On April 6, 2004, Bishop Fabian W. Bruskewitz, D.D., S.T.D., of the Lincoln, NE diocese, stated through his office that his diocese would deny Holy Communion to any manifest, persistent, obstinate sinner.  Bishop Bruskewitz in May 15, 1996, issued a successful diocesan synodal law, still enforced today, which carries an automatic penalty of excommunication.  Informing all Catholics in his diocese of the list of dissenting organizations whose activities are contrary to the Catholic Faith, Bruskewitz has literally ‘cleaned house.’

Pray we get more bishops like Bishop Fabian W. Bruskewitz.  God bless this true Sheppard.   Pray for him and for more like him.

It is a mortal sin for a Roman Catholic to vote for a pro-abort politician and it must be confessed before receiving the Most Holy Eucharist.

Please contact these Bishops and tell them they must act on Canon Law 915 and deny Catholic Governor Granholm Holy Communion or even excommunicate her for her pro-abort stance.   Failure to act these bishops risk the fires of Hell.
