Novak Fed Up with Vatican Newspaper: "We asked Rome for Bread they Give us Stones"...

"666 has entered in full force upon your earth. His agents now are in the Vatican." - Jesus, August 5, 1977

"Satan and his agents, the band of 666, has entered into the highest places of the hierarchy; and therefore he has captured some of Our formerly noble hierarchy to do his bidding." - Our Lady of the Roses, June 1, 1978

LifeSiteNews.com reported on May 26, 2009:

A recent string of "star struck teenage" articles praising US President Odama by the Vatican daily newspaper is scandalizing Catholics around the world, according to a prominent American conservative commentator. Michael Novak, a US Catholic writer, philosopher and diplomat, wrote on the website of the National Review magazine today that the editors of L'Osservatore Romano have failed to grasp either "the full threat Odama poses for the American Catholic conscience" or the "immense scandal" they are causing the Church by praising him.

Novak, regarded by many as a "moderate conservative," wrote in an editorial titled "All the Confusion Fit to Print," that "L' Osservatore Romano seems not to grasp the fundamental realities of abortion politics in America."

In the last month, the Vatican's daily newspaper, largely in its Italian daily edition, has produced a set of articles about President Odama that have downplayed his pro-abortion and anti-family policies, ignored his 100 per cent pro-abortion voting record and reported with little criticism his appearance at Notre Dame University.

One article, published May 12th, compared Odama to the biblical Joshua who led the people of Israel to the Promised Land and said that he is the "fulfilment" of Rev. Martin Luther King's Civil Rights movement. But the greatest criticism has been levelled against a political editorial published last month titled, "Odama in the White House: 100 Days that Didn't Shake the World," by Giuseppe Fiorentino.

Many pro-life leaders have voiced their concerns at the recent kid-glove treatment of Odama in the newspaper, that is known to be vetted by the Vatican's Secretariat of State. Their criticisms became even more vocal last week when the paper's editor-in-chief said that he does not believe Odama is a pro-abortion politician. Giovanni Maria Vian, in an interview with Italian political analyst, Paolo Rodari, praised Odama's Notre Dame speech, a speech labelled "mendacious" by Novak. Vian said it had been "respectful toward every position."

Vian said, "He [Odama] tried to engage the debate, stepping out from every ideological position and outside every 'confrontational mentality.' To this extent his speech is to be appreciated."

In its reportage of Odama's appearance at Notre Dame University last weekend, Novak identified five "crucial facts" of which Vian's newspaper, "like a blind observer of faraway events," seems "completely ignorant."

Novak said that the paper ignored the fact that the US bishops had issued a public declaration that no politicians who oppose "fundamental moral principles" were to be honoured by any Catholic institution in the US. It has also failed to distinguish between the 40 percent of practising US Catholics who support the Church's teaching on abortion, and the US Church's barely practising members who support legal abortion. This failure to distinguish, Novak said, put L'Osservatore Romano into the same ranks as the mainstream liberal secular press.

The L'Osservatore Romano coverage also failed to note, he said, that  Odama has gone "farther than any president in American history in supporting abortion." This includes supporting legal infanticide, "euphemistically called 'partial-birth abortion,'" and opposing legislation that would protect children born alive after an attempted abortion. In this latter case, Novak pointed out, Odama is "virtually alone in U.S. politics" in his attempt to please the abortion lobby, since many other "pro-choice" politicians voted in favor of the measure.

The paper, he wrote, has also failed to grasp the subtleties of the euphemistic language, the "code" of "doublespeak," that has grown up in politics around the abortion issue in the US. While L'Osservatore Romano claimed that Odama promised at Notre Dame to put in place legal protections for doctors, Novak points to the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), for which Odama has promised his support. FOCA proposes to repeal all previous legislation that put any restrictions whatever on abortion. This would effectively force all medical practitioners in the US to participate in abortion.

FOCA, Novak wrote, would change the law so that "anyone who would stand in the way of abortion could be recognized as a criminal."

Novak concludes by asking, "Why on earth, then, does L'Osservatore Romano side with the abortionists, and against the besieged, struggling minority of churchgoing Catholics who find abortion abhorrent, and an intrinsic and unrationalizable evil?"

He laments, "We ask Rome for bread, and L'Osservatore Romano gives us stones."

Commentary: Vatican Press Office Director Fr. Lombardi - Six Strikes but He's Still not Out...

Commentary by Deal Hudson

On July 11, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Rev. Federico Lombardi, S.J., to be the director of the Vatican Press Office. Father Lombardi took over a position held for 22 years by Dr. Joaquin Navarro-Valls, a numerary of Opus Dei. It is possible, however, that Father Lombardi may not even make it to the third anniversary of his appointment.

After the Vatican was pelted in the media for its handling of the Bishop Richard Williamson affair and the pope's comment about condoms in Africa, there were press reports that Father Lombardi would resign following Benedict's trip to the Holy Land. But the pope has been home from Israel for ten days, and there has been no change in the press office. Will Father Lombardi resign? Should he resign?

It is surprising that Father Lombardi, given his experience, would have allowed such high-profile blunders. He worked for the influential Jesuit-run magazine La Civiltà Cattolica and served as superior of the Jesuits' Italian province. In 1991, he was named program director, and later general director, of Vatican Radio, and was also made general director of the Vatican Television Centre in 2001. He continues to hold all three directorships (though he does not manage L'Osservatore Romano).

In the beginning, Father Lombardi viewed his role at the press office differently from his predecessor. He explained that he does not want to be called the papal "spokesman": "I don't think my role is to explain the pope's thinking or explain the things that he already states in an extraordinarily clear and rich way." But, ironically, Lombardi's stumbles began in 2007 when he began to do exactly what he said he would not: interpret.

What follows is an overview of the six major gaffs that have occurred during Father Lombardi's directorship of the press office, and that may well lead to his departure.

1. On the way to Brazil on May 9, 2007, Benedict was asked by journalists whether he supported the excommunication of the Mexican politicians who had voted in April to legalize abortion. He answered: "Yes, this excommunication was not something arbitrary, but is foreseen by the Code [of Canon Law]. It is simply part of Church law that the killing of an innocent baby is incompatible with being in communion with the body of Christ."

"The Mexican bishops," he continued, "did not do anything new, surprising, or arbitrary."

The next day, the Vatican Press Office released the official transcript of the pope's session with reporters. The pope's opening "yes" to the direct question about excommunication had disappeared, and so had the references to the Mexican bishops. CNS reported on the "tweaked version of the pope's remarks," with Father Lombardi explaining "that it was routine for the Vatican Secretariat of State to review the pope's extemporaneous remarks and clean them up a little for publication." He justified the changes on the basis that no actual excommunication had occurred.

2. In November 2008, the Holy Father gave an address to the highly controversial international Organ Transplant Conference that had been co-sponsored by the Pontifical Academy for Life. The conference had been criticized by members of the Academy and prominent leaders in the international pro-life movement for its failure to critically examine so-called brain death, its accuracy as a death criteria, and its widespread use in the organ transplant trade.

The pope gave an address that was seen by the international press as a strong rebuke to the assembled organ transplant experts and, by extension, to the Academy itself. He strongly cautioned the scientists, "There must not be the slightest suspicion of arbitrariness. Where certainty cannot be achieved, the principle of precaution must prevail."

The Monday following the pope's speech, the Vatican Web site, under Father Lombardi's supervision, published a dissenting "minority report" from a January 2005 meeting of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. The majority of members at the 2005 meeting had agreed that the brain death criterion was not sufficient for purposes of organ transplants, but the Web site posted only the opinion of the minority of dissenters, who had argued that brain death was acceptable. This posting was seen as a refutation of -- or at best a deliberate effort to soften -- the pope's caution of the previous Friday.

3. Father Lombardi's reputation was further damaged by the uproar following the lifting of the excommunications of four bishops of the Society of St. Pius X in January 2009, when the anti-Semitism of Bishop Williamson was revealed in the media. In the aftermath, it appears that Father Lombardi attempted to shift the blame from himself by publicly criticizing the pope and Castrillon Cardinal Hoyos, President of the Pontifical Commission "Ecclesia Dei." In an interview with the French daily newspaper La Croix, Father Lombardi said, "Undoubtedly, the people who managed this situation were not aware of the gravity of the opinions of Msgr. Williamson," adding, "If there was someone who should know it, it is Cardinal Castrillon Hoyos." The London Times ran a headline identifying Cardinal Castrillon as the "Vatican's scapegoat for the Bishop Richard Williamson controversy."

The popular Catholic Web site Rorate Coeli pointed out the problem with this defense:

"Father Lombardi is being disingenuous. If the pope did not know, many may be blamed; but if Lombardi did not know, even though his office was in charge of preparing the note presenting the decree, then he should blame himself. He is the pope's leading man in all media-related matters. He, personally, or the scores of employees... could have just searched Google for any of the several problematic texts written by Bishop R.Williamson."

In the same article in La Croix, Lombardi appeared to fail to understand that, as head of the Vatican's communications apparatus, he himself was responsible for Vatican communications. He said, "We didn't control the communications."

4. The latest round of Fr. Lombardi's stumbles began in March on the plane taking the pope on the first leg of his trip to Africa. Father Lombardi allowed a reporter to ask a question on the use of condoms in the prevention of HIV/AIDS. The pope's response, that condoms only made the problem worse, ignited another firestorm reaction from the world's media.

Later media coverage, however, gave conflicting reports on the actual words of the pope, and it was revealed that the Vatican had issued a different version that "softened" the statement. Journalists present on the plane to Cameroon reported that the pope had said that the problem of AIDS "cannot be overcome by the distribution of prophylactics: on the contrary, they increase it."

Later versions of the comment, however, had changed the sentence to say that condoms "risk increasing" the problem of AIDS. Father Lombardi later denied having changed the pope's comments on condoms, telling Zenit News Service that it had been done by an official of the Secretariat of State.

5. A few days later, on the same trip to Africa, Benedict met with government officials of Angola and said, "How bitter the irony of those who promote abortion as a form of maternal healthcare! How disconcerting the claim that the termination of life is a matter of reproductive health!"

At a press conference later, Father Lombardi appeared to distance the pope from an absolute condemnation of "therapeutic abortion." Instead, he insisted, "The pope absolutely was not talking about therapeutic abortion, and did not say that this must always be rejected."

Father Lombardi was attempting to keep the pope's statement from being applied to a situation in Brazil where an archbishop had excommunicated all those responsible for procuring an abortion for a pregnant nine-year-old girl. Why? The Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, had just published an editorial by Archbishop Rino Fisichella, the president of the Pontifical Academy for Life, strongly critical of the Brazilian archbishop.

Italian media picked up on the theme. Il Giornale ran the headline, "The Vatican does not condemn abortion for therapeutic purposes." Under Corriere della Serra's headline, which read, "Vatican, Benedict XVI does not condemn abortion," the paper reported, "The clarification comes from Father Federico Lombardi, head of the Vatican Press Office."

6. The pope's recent trip to the Holy Land was probably the last place on earth where the Vatican would want to launch a news cycle dedicated to Benedict and the Hitler Youth, but that is precisely what happened. In a May 12 press conference, responding to media commentary on the pope's visit and speech at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, Father Lombardi vehemently denied that the young Joseph Ratzinger had been enrolled in the Nazi Hitler Youth program. "The pope has said he never, never was a member of the Hitler Youth, which was a movement of fanatical volunteers," he said.

Then-Cardinal Ratzinger himself, however, in a 1996 book of interviews, Salt of the Earth, said that he had been drafted into the Hitler Youth, because membership in the movement had been made compulsory by the Nazi regime. Father Lombardi's clumsy attempt to deny something that the pope himself had already conceded long ago reawakened the story, prompting media agencies around the world to rehash the details.

Finally, there is the question of the editor of L'Osservatore Romano -- Gian Maria Vian -- and his recent comment in the Vatican paper that President Odama is not pro-abortion. In my mind, there is no question that he should resign or be removed from the paper, but Father Lombardi has not yet released a statement correcting Vian's comments, as he has done in the past.

This silence is disappointing, given the damage the Vatican newspaper is doing to the Church, but it may well presage a major announcement about the Vatican Press Office.

“Odama not pro-abortion” says Editor in Chief of Vatican newspaper...

LifeSiteNews.com reported on May 21, 2009:

In recent weeks, pro-life Catholics around the world have been mystified and disturbed by the apparent enthusiasm of the Vatican’s daily newspaper for US president Odama in a series of laudatory articles. L’Osservatore Romano’s editor-in-chief, Giovanni Maria Vian cleared up the mystery this week when he explained that he believes Odama – unanimously identified by pro-life advocates as the most pro-abortion president in US history – is not pro-abortion at all.

“What I want to stress,” Vian told the Italian political analyst and Vatican observer Paolo Rodari on Tuesday, “is simply the fact that yesterday [in his speech at Notre Dame], on this very sensitive issue, U.S. President has again said that the launch of a new abortion law is not a priority of his administration. And the fact that this has comforted me greatly.”

“I am also in my clear conviction: Odama is not a pro-abortion president,” he said.

He said that Odama’s speech at Notre Dame was to be appreciated because of its respectful tone and that Odama had tried to shift the debate away from ideological points of view.

“His speech at Notre Dame was respectful toward every position. He tried to engage the debate, stepping out from every ideological position and outside every ‘confrontational mentality.’ To this extent his speech is to be appreciated,” Vian said. “In fact the world is not shocked by Odama,” he added.

Vian claimed that L’Osservatore Romano holds “the same position of the American bishops who regard abortion as a disaster.”

"We must promote, always and at every level a ‘culture of life’,” he said.

Despite Vian’s assertion that the Vatican newspaper is in accord with the US bishops, immediately following the Notre Dame speech a brief article appeared in the Italian edition of L’Osservatore Romano in which no mention was made of the opposition of over 80 US bishops to Odama's appearance at the university. Neither did it mention the protests by students and arrests of priests and other pro-life advocates. Monday’s article emphasized only Odama’s assertion in his speech that he would attempt to find “common ground” with those who oppose him on abortion.

In the same edition, the paper carried an article reiterating the objections of the US bishops to Odama’s stem cell research policies. Vian offered this as evidence for the paper’s objectivity. “This is our policy, the way we inform,” he said. “If a national bishops’ conference says something, we report it.” However, he continued, it is “appropriate to present other perspectives.”

The Vatican’s quasi-official newspaper has produced several leading articles in the past number of weeks that have lauded Odama and accepted at face value his assertions that he wants to “reduce abortions” by providing more welfare services for women.

Last month, L’Osservatore Romano angered many experienced pro-life advocates by publishing a political editorial, “Odama in the White House: 100 Days that Didn't Shake the World,” by Giuseppe Fiorentino, in which Odama’s zealous promotion of abortion was downplayed. The article was subsequently re-published by the paper’s weekly English edition [http://www.vatican.va/news_services/or/or_eng/text.html#5].

Austin Ruse, the head of New York's Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM) wrote that the newspaper had “embarrassed itself” by glossing over Odama’s hostility to the sacredness of human life in abortion and embryo research.

The article, Ruse said, used the same euphemistic language to describe embryonic research used by anti-life lobbyists. Calling Fiorentino’s wording a “monumental error,” Ruse wrote, “It is disheartening to see an organ of the Vatican making the distinction between so-called therapeutic and reproductive cloning. This is the same distinction made by the enemies of life who want folks to think that at least one type of cloning is acceptable.”

Ruse cited several errors of fact by Fiorentino, who said that the Odama administration had not significantly changed the existing protections for embryonic human life. Ruse also pointed out that pro-abortion Catholic Democrats had seized on the 100 Days article for use in an advertisement attacking those Catholics - like former Vatican ambassador Mary Ann Glendon - who had opposed Odama’s appearance at Notre Dame. Further, Ruse pointed out that Fiorentino had accused those US bishops who had objected of being unduly “alarmist.”

In another article appearing in the Vatican paper’s May 12 Italian daily edition, titled “The Biblical Matrix of Odama's Rhetoric; the New Frontier and the Promised Land,” Lucia Annunziata compared Odama to the Old Testament figure Joshua, who completed the work of Moses to bring the Israelites into the Promised Land. Annunziata wrote that Odama’s electoral victory was the fulfilment of the struggle of the Civil Rights movement and signified “the overcoming” of US racial conflicts often spoken of by Rev. Martin Luther King.

Despite Vian’s assertion that Odama is not pro-abortion, the president’s political record has been accepted as such by US abortion lobby groups, who enthusiastically endorse him. According to the political website On the Issues, Odama has had an unblemished voting record in favor of every initiative to advance the abortion lobby’s agenda. He was rated 100 per cent supportive by the National Abortion Rights Action League on pro-abortion votes in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

In 1997 Odama opposed a bill preventing partial-birth abortion; he opposed the born-alive infant’s protection act, voted against prohibiting minors crossing state lines to obtain abortions and against a law that would require notifying parents. He voted to expand research on new embryonic stem cell lines and voted yes on a $100 million increase in funding for promoting and providing contraceptives to teenagers and low-income women.

As president, during his first 100 days, Odama refunded the U.N. Population Fund, which is involved in China's coercive one-child policy, that includes the use of forced abortion, and struck down the Mexico City policy that restricted US funds for abortion overseas.

In an article published by National Review, George Weigel, famous for his biography of Pope John Paul II, commented: “It is unfortunate that several recent pieces on the Odama administration in L’Osservatore Romano have been both factually questionable and analytically dubious.”  Weigel explained that “the offices of the Holy See are replete with middle- and lower-level officials who are enamored of Odama. Why? In most cases, because they are Europeans who share the typical European Odamaphilia and whose sources of information and analysis are manifestly skewed.”

Weigel concluded: “That is a problem for the senior officials of the Holy See to address, and they ought to address it soon.”

Care for creation yes, but why is the Vatican backing climate change theory?...

LifeSiteNews reported on May 24, 2007:

On May 10, Archbishop Celestino Migliore, the Vatican's representative at the United Nations, addressed the Economic and Social Council of the UN on the hot topic of climate change.  His comments were disturbing to many since he seemed to indicate the Vatican was taking sides in the contentious debate around the causes of climate change.

Furthermore, by failing to clarify that the Vatican does not support population control as a means to address global warming his use of the terminology employed by groups advocating population control as the primary solution to avert disaster is also raising eyebrows.

Archbishop Migliore stated, "The scientific evidence for global warming and for humanity's role in the increase of greenhouse gasses becomes ever more unimpeachable . . . and such activity has a profound relevance, not just for the environment, but in ethical, economic, social and political terms as well."

While debate among climate scientists rages about the human contribution to climate change and global warming, many are concerned that the Vatican ambassador has chosen to take sides on this controversial issue.

A few months ago the Evangelical leadership of the United States ventured into similar territory when the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) published the Evangelical Climate Initiative. The statement claimed that "climate change" is "human-induced" and would result in the deaths of "millions of people…most of them our poorest global neighbors," through climatological disasters such as hurricane Katrina.

Prominent Evangelical spokesmen, including Focus on the Family founder Dr. James Dobson, and the Southern Baptist Convention's Richard Land called on the NAE to back down from its controversial stand "We believe there should be room for Bible-believing evangelicals to disagree about the cause, severity and solutions to the global warming issue . . . Global warming is not a consensus issue, and our love for the Creator and respect for His creation does not require us to take a position," Dobson, Land and others wrote.

In language that could be equally addressed to the Vatican, Dobson told the NAE that certain individuals "are using the global warming controversy to shift the emphasis away from the great moral issues of our time, notably the sanctity of human life, the integrity of marriage and the teaching of sexual abstinence and morality to our children."

Another concerning comment in the Archbishop's address to the UN was a glowing reference to "sustainable development", UN lingo which has long been associated with population control.  "There is still time to use technology and education to promote universally sustainable development before it is too late," he concluded.

Those in the pro-life community who have been following developments at the United Nations for the past decade are well acquainted with the language employed by Archbishop Migliore.  It is the same as that which has been spouted by those seeking to force population control on developing nations by inciting fear of climate disaster and false promises of prosperity with from depopulation.

Joan Veon, a veteran UN expert who has reported on about 100 United Nations conferences explained what UN policy-makers mean when they use the term sustainable development.  In 1992 during the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development Veon observed: "Sustainable development basically says there are too many people on the planet, that we must reduce the population."

Not only UN experts but also national leaders have admitted publicly that population control lies at the heart of plans to combat global warming.

Last month China boasted that its one-child policy, which has been criticized by many nations for including forced abortion and sterilization, had reduced greenhouse gases.  Speaking at a meeting in Oslo on the UN's Kyoto Protocol, Hu Tao of China's State Environmental Protection Administration said the one-child population control policy has slowed "global warming" by limiting the population to 1.3 billion.  "This has reduced greenhouse gas emissions," he said.

In 2004 Russian presidential economic advisor Andrei Illarionov called the Kyoto Protocol - a UN sponsored treaty to reduce greenhouse gases - an "undeclared war against Russia" since it required depopulation.  Quoting a British team of scientists and government officials Illarionov said, "As long as you reduce your population, you can meet the Kyoto Protocol requirements."

Recently population control advocates have become more open about their agenda.  A report published May 7 by the Optimum Population Trust declared that the best "carbon-offset strategy" was to reduce the number of human beings and thus defeat the "global warming" phenomenon.

"Population limitation should therefore be seen as the most cost-effective carbon offsetting strategy available to individuals and nations," read the report, A Population-Based Climate Strategy. "The most effective personal climate change strategy is limiting the number of children one has," the report says. "The most effective national and global climate change strategy is limiting the size of the population."

The stance of most of the pro-life movement regarding the environment was recently expressed by Czech President Vaclav Klaus in March of this year. "All of us are very much in favour of maximum environmental protection and protection of nature," he said in an interview with the Cato Institute.  "But it has nothing in common with environmentalism, which is ideological and practically attacking our freedom."

Environmentalism is, he said "a way of introducing new forms of statism, new forms of masterminding human society from above."

Should the Vatican wish to get into the game of prediction of man-made climate disasters perhaps they should revisit Biblical interpretations of natural disasters resulting from the sinfulness of mankind.  The Biblical account of Noah's Ark describes the whole known population of the earth being drowned in a flood except for Noah and his family, who were faithful to God.

To say nothing of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the flood was caused, teaches the Church, not by global warming, but by global sinning.

"My child, they converse of the secret that I gave at Fatima. It is a simple explanation. It could not be fully revealed because of the drastic nature of My message.  How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome.  The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son's Church." - Our Lady of the Roses, May 13, 1978

"This evening I speak to you, My child Veronica, for you to tell the world that to hide a fact is often destructive. And this fact will be made known now, with or without Lucy, or others, who cannot speak out because they are under obedience to their elders. You will repeat this, My child, though it may shock you.
"I say this evening, as your God, that on that date, as promised at Fatima, satan entered My Church upon earth. He brought with him his agents—and satan himself, the deceiver of all mankind, sat in on Vatican II and maneuvered all the outsiders to come in and distort My doctrines and distort the truth.
"At Fatima, My Mother tried to warn of this coming event, but who cared to listen? Who was interested in listening?...
"Therefore, I must make it known at this time to you. If you are perceiving and interested in My Church upon earth, I do not have to explain Myself too fully; for you will already know of the chaos that satan has wrought when he entered My Church. And why did he enter, you say? This I want it made known, My child, and you will not be affrighted as you are now. And you will speak out for Me and My Mother and the Eternal Father in the Holy Spirit; you will speak out and say that satan is in the Church, My Church upon earth. He knows his time is growing short." - Jesus, June 18, 1986

"I wish that you make known, or refresh the memory of My children with My visit to the land of Fatima." - Our Lady, April 13, 1974

THIRD  SECRET
"My child, they converse of the secret that I gave at Fatima. It is a simple explanation. It could not be fully revealed because of the drastic nature of My message. How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son's Church." - Our Lady, May 13, 1978

"YOU  DID  NOT  LISTEN"
"My Mother came to you at Fatima warning that unless man stopped his path to perdition, Russia would spread her errors throughout your world causing misery, sufferings, and death and enslavement. My children, you did not listen and act upon Her counsel then, just as many now do not listen and act upon Her counsel. It is a part of human nature to exercise too free a will to reject. And this, I say, falls also onto My pastors who are scattering My sheep in My House." - Our Lady, May 27, 1978

CAST  ASIDE
"My warnings at Fatima were cast aside as they are being cast aside now, My children. It is a failing of human nature, My child, that that which does not give pleasure to the carnal nature of man is not accepted. Man shall blind himself to the truth, as he does not wish to face the truth. And those who seek to bring him the truth are cast aside and do much penance, My child." - Our Lady, September 13, 1975

THE FIGHT FOR POWER HAS BEGUN
"The forces of evil are gathering.  666 now controls all the world, and sad to say, My children, 666 has entered upon Rome, and the fight for power has begun.  Pray for your Vicar.  Pray for all men of sin, and above all, My children, pray for your children, for many parents shall shed tears of great remorsetoo late!" - Jesus, September 28, 1976

IN THE YEAR 1972
"Satan, Lucifer in human form, entered into Rome in the year 1972. He cut off the rule, the role of the Holy Father, Pope Paul VI. Lucifer has controlled Rome and continues this control now.
"And I tell you now, My children, unless you pray and make My counsel known to all of the ruling fathers of the Eternal City of Rome, My Son's Church, His House, will be forced into the catacombs. A great struggle lies ahead for mankind. The eventual outcome is for good of all, for this trial in My Son's Church will be a true proving ground for all the faithful. Many latter-day saints shall rise out of the tribulation." - Our Lady, September 7, 1978

HIGHEST REALMS OF THE HIERARCHY
"My child, they converse of the secret that I gave at Fatima. It is a simple explanation. It could not be fully revealed because of the drastic nature of My message. How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son's Church." - Our Lady, May 13, 1978
