Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI Were Fully Aware and Believed Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers' Messages at Bayside...

Three years later, on October 19, 1997, Pope John Paul II proclaimed St. Theresa a Doctor of the Church, one of only three women saints to have this distinction. Thus, Our Lady's prediction came true

One of Veronica's Closest Workers, Vincent McDonnell, Received Gold Papal Medal of Honor From Pope John Paul II for His Valliant Efforts in Protesting the "Hail Mary" Film...

In 1985, a blasphemous film entitled "Hail Mary" was released. This film portrayed a modern version of the virgin birth in vulgar terms. Vincent McDonnell, a devoted worker of Our Lady of the Roses Shrine, protested this evil film for 122 days, eight hours a day. The first night there were 10,000 people protesting outside of Alice Tully Hall from 5pm until 10pm. Vincent led the people in a Rosary procession around the hall people to defeat the film. The Rosaries continued until 10pm. Pope John Paul II sent Father Perenti, head of the Redemptorist order in Rome, as his envoy. At any given time during the protest there were anywhere from 15 to 10,000 people. From there, Vincent traveled around Manhattan, protesting the film from 2pm in the afternoon until 10pm. He also spent two weeks in Boston protesting the film. Next, he protested at the State University near Albany and Princeton College in New Jersey.

On October 12, 1986, Pope John Paul II bestowed the gold Papal Medal of Honor on Vincent for his defense of the Blessed Mother.

"I shall not stand by and allow My Mother to be debauched and defamed. I will take action, great action, against the theater where this picture (the "Hail Mary" film) shall be shown." (Jesus, 10-5-85)

Veronica sent, Vincent McDonnell, on a special mission to deliver the Bayside Message to the Holy Father, had a singular grace and privilege to greet and briefly speak to the Holy Father at the General Audience on October 24, 1979.

Pope John Paul II personally accepted from Vincent's hands a large envelope containing the Bayside messages of Our Lady of the Roses and Our Lord. A yellow Rosary blessed by Our Lady and given by Veronica gift wrapped the precious package. Vincent also gave the Holy Father a tape of the message that prophesied his attempted assassination. This was 19 months before the event took place. This remarkable event, as related by Vincent McDonnell, unfolded in this manner:

“The Holy Father said to me (on being handed the envelope): ‘What is this?’ I said to him: ‘The Rosary is a gift from Our Blessed Mother, and in the envelope are the Messages of Our Blessed Mother given to Veronica Lueken, from Our Lady of the Roses Shrine, Bayside, New York; and could you kindly read them.’ The Holy Father said: ‘I know about it.’ At this time I asked for a special blessing from the Holy Father for all of Our Lady’s workers. The Holy Father said: ‘I bless you, your family, your relatives, and all your friends back home; and I place you all under the protection of Our Blessed Mother.’

“The conversation lasted for a couple of minutes…. I thought it prudent not to say too much, being satisfied that he knew about the Shrine and that he had personally received the Messages into his own hands.”

In May of 1987, Vincent was able to talk to Pope John Paul II for 15 to 20 minutes. Vincent received three VIP tickets for for the Pope's private audience through a Polish bishop. After his 5am Mass, Pope John Paul II came down to great Vincent and the others waiting for a private audience. While the Holy Father gave most of the others ten seconds, enough time to shake a hand or touch a head, he stopped and talked to Vincent and listened to what he had to say.
Vincent gave the Holy Father a picture of Our Lady of the Roses and a 15 karat gold rosary for his upcoming birthday in April. Vincent told the Holy Father that he must consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Pope John Paul II replied by saying "Yes" three times. Finally, Vincent gave the Pope a box of messages. The Pope gave the package to his security guard and told him to take care of it. A bishop tried to take the box, but the Pope would not give it to him. The security guard told Vincent that he would take it to the Pope's bedroom right away.

The picture at the right was taken of Vincent McDonnell wearing a white beret on his head and standing beside the Statue of Our Lady of the Roses at Bayside, New York. The Statue of Our Lady mostly disappears except

for a little blue in the lower right hand corner of the picture. But covering the majority of the Shrine Statue you can see miraculously appearing in the picture a side profile of Pope John Paul II looking downward. You can also see a string of Rosary beads in the lower left-hand side of the picture. This photograph was taken within one year of Vincent's meeting with Pope John Paul II. The picture was taken with a Polaroid SX70 camera which is tamper proof. It appears that Heaven is attesting to the authenticity of the meeting.

On Wednesday, April 21, 1993, thirty-four pilgrims of Our Lady of the Roses attended the General Audience with the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, together with pilgrims from all over the world.
    We arrived for the General Audience in St. Peter’s Square at approximately 8:30 am as the Audience was scheduled for 11 am until 2 pm. We were seated with other pilgrims from Poland. From 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. we were praying the Rosary and disseminating Our Lady’s messages.
    I was determined to see the Holy Father and give him the two booklets Occulations from Heaven, which Our Blessed Mother requested me to do.
    It was approximately 11:20 am, when with the help of the Blessed Mother, I made it all the way. I climbed over chairs until I finally got to the center aisle barrier. I stood on a chair where some children were standing. The Pope was walking towards me down the aisle shaking hands and talking with various pilgrims.
    I was holding in my hands two copies of the booklet Occulations from Heaven. I handed the two booklets face up to him, the front cover of St. Theresa showing. He took the two booklets with his hands, holding them tightly. He looked at the front cover showing St. Theresa’s picture.
    I said, “Most Holy Father, Our Blessed Mother requests that you take these two copies of Occulations from Heaven by St. Theresa; you must read them. Please, Holy Father, you must read them, especially page fifteen, Exhortation poem by St. Theresa.” The Holy Father said, “Yes! Yes!” I insisted, “Holy Father, your must read the booklets, especially page fifteen. Our Blessed Mother wants you to read them.” The Pope said, “Yes! Yes! I will read them.”
    He then turned to his personal body guard and handed the two booklets to him. He said to his bodyguard, “I want them back.” The bodyguard put the two booklets in the inside pocket of his coat jacket. The Pope squeezed my hands and said “Yes.” Then he blessed me.
    As I stepped down from the chair I was attacked verbally and physically by some women. They were hitting me on the back and over my head with their handbags. They were pulling at my coat jacket and screaming at me. I guess I got them a little upset since I got between them and the Pope.
    When I returned to my seat and after relating the good news to my fellow pilgrims of Our Lady of the Roses, several of us smelled a beautiful aroma of tobacco. The beautiful aroma of the tobacco smell was an indication to me that Padre Pio was with us and that the mission was a success.
    While praying the Rosary in thanksgiving to Jesus, Our Lady of the Roses, St. Theresa, St. Michael, and Padre Pio for the success of the mission several of us got a beautiful smell of roses.
    I had given Lena Iannetta a box containing all of our Lady’s messages and sacramentals. The Pope was given some Mass cards as a birthday present. His birthday is May 18th. At 1 p.m. Lena gave him the box.
    We asked him for a special blessing for Veronica, and all the workers and pilgrims of Our Lady of the Roses Shrine. The Holy Father clasped our hands and said, “Yes.” He then gave his blessing.
    I pray that the booklets, Occulations from Heaven, given to the Holy Father, will produce an abundance of fruits.

On Sunday, May16, 1993 at 1:50 pm., Our Lady spoke to Veronica in locution: "Mission accomplished. Your giving the messages to the Holy Father will have much fruit for the church in the future."

Vincent McDonnell Met and Talked with Cardinal Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI)...

Vincent met and spoke to Cardinal Ratzinger on October 2, 1988. Vincent was in St. Peter's Square handing out copies of the "Consecrate Russia" message to bishops and cardinals entering Paul VI Hall for a conference. At about 1:30pm, Vincent recognized Cardinal Ratzinger walking across St. Peter's Square. He hurried over and introduced himself to his eminence. Vincent started out by showing the Cardinal several miraculous pictures from Bayside. Cardinal Ratzinger said, "Oh, I know all about Bayside." Vincent told Cardinal Ratzinger that he was there to get Pope John Paul II to Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Vincent said, "I know he’s having some difficulties getting the bishops together. But he is the supreme pontiff of the Holy Roman Catholic Church and he has to command them. Our Lady has requested this going back as far back as 1929 and 1917 at Fatima." Cardinal Ratzinger replied, "I know." Vincent gave Cardinal Ratzinger a copy of the message. He said, "I'd be happy to give it to the Pope. I'm going over there now."

Vincent had previously met with Cardinal Ratzinger's secretary at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Msgr. Joseph Di Noia. Msgr. Di Noia showed him a drawer full of information on Veronica and Bayside. Msgr. Di Noia told Vincent, “We’re keeping a file because there is a lot of good stuff in there.” Vincent asked, “What is your honest opinion, Father?” He said, “There is a lot of good stuff in there. That’s why we are keeping it. A lot of that stuff she is saying is true.”
In May of 2005, Vincent again met Msgr. Di Noia, now an archbishop. He asked him to talk to Cardinal Ratzinger to get do something to get the bishop of Brooklyn to start a proper canonical investigation into Bayside because neither Veronica nor any of the workers were called in to testify about Bayside. Msgr. Di Noia replied, "I know. It takes time. The Church is very slow. If anything does come down, if an investigation does take place, we have all the information here already. Everything is on file."

Proofs that Pope Benedict is Fully Aware of Our Lady of the Roses' Requests at Bayside...

First, with the release of his motu proprio Summorum Pontificum, Pope Benedict brought the Latin Tridentine Mass to prominence. Now, any priest of the Roman Catholic Church can offer this Mass and not even the Vatican can stop them. This is exactly what Our Lord requested at Bayside.

Veronica - Jesus is not pleased with the manner in which His clergy are carrying out their vocations, and, also, the Mass. Jesus wishes that the Old Mass be returned to wipe out many of the errors that have crept in since the New Mass has started. - July 1, 1985

In July of 2008, Papal Master of Ceremonies, Monsignor Guido Marini announced that anyone who wanted to receive Communion from the Pope at papal liturgies only be able to receive Communion kneeling and on the tongue. Anytime now that the Pope gives out Holy Communion, a kneeler is brought out so that the faithful may kneel and receive their God on the tongue and kneeling only as requested by Our Lady at Bayside.

A new English translation of the Mass was announced earlier this year. This new translation, while it is still taken from the Latin version of the Novus Ordo, is more more faithful to the Latin. In fact, some parts now sound like translations of the Latin Tridentine Mass. A comparison of the current text and the changes shows that Pope Benedict is staying true to his promise to "reform the reform". Once again this is a move to return to tradition, just as Heaven has asked through Bayside.

Just as Pope Benedict was leaving for the UK, it was announced that Pope Benedict would pray the main parts of all Masses in Latin. This move shows yet again Pope Benedict's support for Latin, the universal language of the Church. It also highlights his efforts to reintroduce the Church to the beauty of that language in the Mass.

The rules have been given to you that must not be changed, as you cater to the basic carnal nature of man, a generation that has fallen! It has been revealed that while he was a cardinal, one of the things that weighed heavily on Pope Benedict's mind was the mishandling of the Third Secret of Fatima. In fact, it was announced in early 2010 that Pope Benedict was planning to reopen the file on the Third Secret.

"My child, they converse of the secret that I gave at Fatima. It is a simple explanation. It could not be fully revealed because of the drastic nature of My message. Let us storm Heaven with prayers for the Pope Benedict's safety and that he will have the courage, strength, and longevity to complete his valiant efforts in the face of so much dissent within the Church.
